Sam is Senior Advisor at AcAp. Sam has over 35 years of Investment Banking experience and has held senior positions at Goldman Sachs, San Paolo Bank, Sumitomo Bank, Lehman Brothers, Nomura and Vantage Capital Markets. His expertise includes the debt and equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and all aspects of the global securities markets. Sam has executed transactions in a number of geographies, for clients in numerous sectors, and particularly in the energy segment. Sam holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from INSEAD.Sam led teams in transactions for clients including Belgacom (privatisation), Statoil (privatisation), Statkraft (capital increase), China OSL (acquisition of Awilco), Government of Norway (merger of Statoil and Norsk Hydro).
